On March 23, The Harbus Foundation held its annual awards ceremony in which it donated over $53,500 to charities selected by groups of HBS MBA students (listed below). These charities were selected based on the impact and quality of the organization, as well as the missions of the charities to improve education and literacy in the Boston area. We at The Harbus would like to thank the each of these organizations for, in their own way, educating leaders who make a difference in the world.
The Harbus Foundation, the only charitable foundation run by MBA students in the country, has donated over a million dollars to various charities over the last fifteen years. Trustees this year were David Kiren (HBS 2012), Aparna Bedi (HBS 2012), and Will Clayton (HBS 2012). Clayton also served on the board of directors of The Harbus News Corporation.
