Current skyrocketing energy prices and increasing concerns about global ecological issues have brought environmental issues on most business leaders' agenda. In this fast changing context, the Business and the Environment Club's new alliance with two leading organizations in the sustainability field carries even greater significance.
The 2005 Alumni Achievement Awards Forum sponsored by the HBS Leadership and Values Committee took place last Thursday, September 29 in Burden Auditorium. The forum included a panel case discussion hosted by Dean Jay Light and moderated by Professor Bill George.
What good would a $1.8 billion endowment be if you didn't get out and spend it once in a while? For ECs, there have been many notable additions to the HBS campus this year, the most prominent being the re-opening of a newly renovated Baker Library (finally a good place to study!).
